Chocolate Scones
I baked some scones just few minutes ago. Akinori was grading his students’ lab assignments and he got bored or something. Then he suddenly wanted to have some sweets and was asking me to go out for icecream or something. I totally did not feel like going out tonight, so I simply baked them.
But actually this photo is not to show my funny-shaped scones off. I’m experimenting something on this web. This picture should look like it has a shadow underneath it. It is not a part of the image, I’m writing an html for it. I wonder how it turns out?? (Scones turned out all right by the way.)

Saturday Football
I totally forgot to mention that our Cougars lost last Saturday. It was a big loss, not even close. USC Trojans are very strong, and I think they are the real deal. I think they will go to the Sugar Bowl.
However, here is the current standing of Pac-10.
No. 1: USC (Pac-10 4-1, Overall 8-1)
No. 2: WSU (Pac-10 4-1, Overall 7-2)
No. 3: UCLA (Pac-10 4-1, Overall 6-3)
No. 4: OSU (Pac-10 3-2, Overall 6-3)
So it is really possible that WSU will be co-Pac10 champions with USC, if WSU beats UCLA. And if USC goes to the Sugar, then WSU might end up with going to the Rose. Again! Yay!
And excitingly, the game against UCLA is on this Saturday. It is a home game for Cougars. That means, the players have to play at temperatures of about 10-20 degrees. Cougars will be fine because they practice at the temperature range, but I don’t know about UCLA Bruins, they are from LA, where the temperature is about 80 degree. They will freeze as an ice.
