私がここで紹介する音楽って、「誰もが知ってる」「メガヒットを飛ばした」「けどちょっと古くない？それ？」というジャンルですが、これもそうですね。いい感じにちょっと古いというよりは中途半端にちょっと前の大ヒットです。私、あまり音楽の事は分からないのですが流行った曲というのは大好きです。「流行っている曲」よりもずっと好き。なぜかと言うと、流行っている間にはあまり意識せずにいつもラジオなんかで耳にしているので、ちょっとした日常になるわけですよね。そして数年たって聴くと、その頃のことがうわーっと思い出されて良いわけです。というわけでこのウォールフラワーズの「ザ・ディファレンス」も1996年のヒットです。さらに下に続きます。

ボーカルの彼は、あのボブディランの息子ということで鳴り物入りで登場したわけですが、世の七光りの人たちと同じように、普通以上に才能がある、でもお父さんにかなわない、という雰囲気をかもしだしていて、私は結構好きでした。声がさすがボブディランのDNAという感じ。もう１曲、”One Head Light”という歌もバカ売れしましたが、私はそれも好きでした。90年代はこういうルーツロックとでも言えるジャンルのバンドが売れたから楽しかったなー。グランジも良かったですね。また自分で歌うために歌詞残しておきます。
